# API Integration Setup

> Learn how to set up API integration with ZenoPay, including creating applications, managing API keys, and retrieving credentials

**Authentication Overview**\
\*\*X-API Key \*\*- It is required for API authentication, displayed **only once** during creation. **Copy and store it securely**

Never share your X-API-KEY credentials  publicly. Always use HTTPS to protect your credentials during transmission.

**Application Setup**

**Step 1: Log in to the ZenoPay Dashboard**\
Go to the [**ZenoPay Dashboard**](https://zenoapi.com/login) and log in with your credentials.

**Step 2: Create a New Api**\
Click **Create Api** to begin the setup process.

* **Api Name**: A name to identify your api.

**Step 3: Submit Your Application**\
Click **Create** to finalize the application setup.
